Shaun of The Dead Serial Killers, or Thoughts on Sightseers

Produced by Edgar Wright, Sightseers (2012), also known as Turistas,  (but not the 2006 Turistas) is about Chris and Tina, a quiet, polite, unassuming couple who snap in a very British way.  Their scenic tour of the Lake Country in a caravan is interspersed with murdery bits as they go after rude people, litterbugs, and other assorted randos.  The style is deadpan, not exactly a horror-comedy, more like a quirky thriller with extremely violent absurdist elements reminiscent of a particularly nasty Roald Dahl short story.
Alice Lowe, who you may remember as Dr. Liz Asher from Garth Marenghi’s Dark Place (2004) is Tina, a sheltered woman in her mid-thirties living with her mum while British comedian Steve Oram is Chris, her struggling writer boyfriend with a caravan.  They're technically spree killers, like Martin Sheen and Sissy Spacek in Badlands (1973) or Mickey and Mallory Knox from a movie you better already know about or we can’t be friends anymore.
Watch out for Tony Way, Plague from The Girl With the Dragon Tattoo (2011), and Dontos Hollard from that show about dragons as the first victim (the litterbug).
